Arrival in Tampa & on to Clearwater Beach

You land in Tampa and pick up your rental car. A short drive takes you to Clearwater Beach where you check into the beachfront Opal Sands Resort. The evening is free to stroll along the boardwalk and have dinner by the ocean – perhaps catch the sunset from Pier 60.

Sun & Dolphin Safari in Clearwater

After breakfast, a relaxing day at the beach awaits. In the afternoon, you will board a catamaran for a guided boat tour – look out for playful dolphins! The evening can end with fresh fish and live music in a beachside restaurant area.

Towards Sarasota & cultural gems

You drive south along the coast to charming Sarasota (about 1.5 hours). Check in at The Sarasota Modern Hotel. Visit The Ringling Museum with art and beautiful gardens, or take a swim at Lido Beach. Dinner at St. Armands Circle with locally caught seafood.

Siesta Key – one of the world's best beaches

Spend the day at Siesta Beach, known for its powdery white sand. Relax with a swim, beach games or paddleboarding. Afternoon shopping or an ice cream break in Siesta Village before returning to the hotel for a night on the town.

Sanibel Island & the shells on the beach

Continue your journey to Sanibel Island – a quiet, natural island (about 2 hours from Sarasota). Check in at Island Inn Sanibel. The rest of the day is spent walking along the beach and shell hunting – the island is world famous for its shells.

Bike tour & wild experiences

Rent bikes and explore the island’s dirt roads and nature reserves. Visit the JN ”Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, home to birds, turtles and mangrove swamps. End the evening with a sunset dinner at the water’s edge.

Naples & back to Clearwater

You leave Sanibel and stop for lunch in stylish Naples with its art galleries and exclusive shops. Then return to Clearwater for two final nights. Check in, take a dip in the hotel pool and enjoy the evening.

Excursion to Caladesi Island

After breakfast, take the ferry to Caladesi Island State Park – a protected and pristine island. Here you will find nature trails, kayak rentals and paradise-like swimming. Bring a picnic and spend a day in peace.
